Palm Treo Vodafone PAYG

Can anyone help ive got the palm tero 500 on pay as you go im trying to get settings for it for over 2 days now have called vodafone 4 times with no help said they would send settings via txt then told today they could not send them via txt and would email them but said they dont think they will work really not sure whats gonna happen now. I also can not send or recive mms only had this phone for 2 days as my other phone broke and i got this one not a good start any help would be something.
