Xiino is a replacement for the Treo's built-in Blazer web browser. It is much faster, optimizes data usage, renders sites better, and provides a number of additional useful features.

sano: I thought it would be better but the browser is just as bad as blazer i think.
oups: I really loved XIIno but infortunately you can't buy it anymore (neither by Handango nor Pdassi , they refunded me ). That's a shame !
enjourni7: Good: speed, bookmark manager, persistent history, easier downloading of files
Bad: poor page rendering (gabled text, strange characters, mangled forms), still sucks to download stuff (palm doesn't recognize file extensions, lack of decompression of zip/rar), lack of web standards (no support for some xml/wap sites, so you end up going back to blazer)
The only reason to use it is because blazer sucks so bad. Web browsing on the palm is still crappy, even in 2007.
gerard134: Super fast...but cant get it to display english sites. For instance, i type in google search and it goes straight into international google. Cant figure out how to change the fonts into english either.

treeight: only benefit it has over blazer on the 680 is that i can post bulletins and comment on myspace, with blazer for some odd reason i cant. other than that its slower and ugly.
ChipOC: very fast, but had to increase the cache to keep it from freezing
mxl360: FAST ... haven't crash... i would say 5X faster than blazer

it works 2 X faster than the blazer
browser on my 650 GSM. Takes some
getting used to but the speed is worth
it.

- Optimization for Web Sites:
The screen size of the PDAs are limited. Xiino's functionalities adapts to the screen size and font for easy and legible display on the PDA.
- Character Display:
The font sizes of characters can be adjusted to the display of the Palm device.
- Image Display:
The size of the images is adjusted to the screen of the Palm Device via the image proxy server.
- Table Format:
Data in table formats are displayed and is fit according to the screen size.
- Color Display:
Via the image proxy server, the color is convered to 65000 colors.
- Frames:

- Cache/History:
Contents of web pages that have been viewed are kept in cache, and can be viewed in offline mode as well.
- Bookmarks:
Register and administer the URL of websites. You can set it up to download the latest information of the website automatically when in online mode.
- Request Caching:
Web Pages that are to be accessed in offline mode can be done so in advance. During the next connection time, all are downloaded.
- Binary File download:
binary files including prc/pdb files downloading from the web site can be installed directly into the Palm device.
