Automatically removes duplicate entries from the Calendar (Date Book), Contacts (Address Book), Memos (Memo Pad), and Tasks (To Do List) (or the Franklin TaskList, if present). If you've ever ended up with all the contents of your Palm duplicated or even worse, this is a lifesaver!
bthis: Excellent! What did I do without it? If you have a large address book, To Do list, it's a great time saver. If you ever try to sync to more than one computer, it's a necessity. Love it!
tkeram: gave this a 5 cuz it only did half of the job..did not remove the duplicates!!! GAY!
*berg3: this is NOT a full version, and this demo version does not delete records.
gruppol: Works great. Must have.
StephenPhelps: Nice and all but not going to pay money for something that can still be done by hand and for free.
Gobelet: They should install it on Slashdot too ;) Nice piece of software!
rosenft: This is a "must have" utility. The most recent update works perfectly on the Treo 650.
copasetic: OMG this is amazing, needed terribly, and pathetic on Palm's part that something like this had to be written :-Thank You!!! :-D
Detailed Description
Version 2.1: Now accesses "new" databases (Calendar, Contacts, Memos, Tasks) directly for improved speed and performance. Also identifies database names in proper language on handhelds configured for languages other than English.
Version 2.0.2: No longer gives "Can't find database" message on a small percentage of Palms with "new" (e.g., "Calendar" vs. "DateBook") databases.
Version 2.0: Removes single events which have become "separated" from (and duplicate) repeating events; handles phone numbers with different formats, e.g., (xxx) yyy-zzzz and xxx-yyy-zzzz. Compatible with flash memory of Tungsten/T5 and Treo 650. NOTE: Version 2.0 is a PAID UPGRADE from version 1.
Version 1.9.3: Added high-res icons, enhanced support for new Tungsten/T3 (and other) databases (Contacts, Calendar, etc.)
Version 1.9.2 (2/12/02) - PalmOS 5.0 compatible.
Version 1.8 (10/9/01) - Much faster searching of DateBook database; corrected a problem which could cause "false positives" on Hebrew-language Palms.
Version 1.7 - Adds support for Franklin-Covey "TaskList".
Version 1.6 - handles "permuted phone numbers", cases where, e.g., one copy has home followed by work phone and the other copy has work followed by home.
Version 1.5 - ignores spaces and newlines at the end of any text field (each individual field in an address, memos, notes, etc.) which is a common situation in "near-duplicate" cases.
Version 1.4 - recognizes duplicates in situations where there are two copies of a DateBook, Address Book, or ToDo entry, one with an attached note, and one without an attached note, and deletes the entry without the note.
