Same version as posted by Palm on July 27, 2005. Attention: If you are not a Cingular Blue Treo 650 customer, do not download this version of the software. It contains carrier-specific requirements that are incompatible with non-Cingular Blue Treo 650s. It is NOT compatable with Cingular Treo 650s. Note: This ZIP archive contains an installer. If your device says Treo650-1.15-CNB or Treo650-X.XX-CNG under software in Phone Info, you should NOT apply this updater.
jakeinguam: "blue" means AT@T technology, if your phone says CINGULAR on the phone itself, don't download this. Should be ok if phone says AT@T
luck: great
mountainrider88: what is cingular "BLue"
i have a cingular account, but i dont know wut blue means, like the front of my phone is blue??? o man i dont get it
ZPrime: FWIW, "GetGood" is just a Blazer link/favorite, no actual program in there. It'd be nice (for those of us who use Goodlink) if the downloader app was preinstalled in the ROM or something...
for that matter, I'd *LOVE* to be able to put GoodLink itself into ROM. 2+MB of space back, plus no more worrying about screwing it up by accident...
dahlstedt: This one is close. Bluetooth now works consistantly and reliably for both Earpiece and DUN (Dial Up Networking), to bad that you have to do a manual "flip", since only one is allowed at at time. This update is a necessity. Now if they would make the built-in apps optional and get voice-dial...
bbrookfield: Memory savings was over 4 megs with same apps before and after. Bluetooth Sync was a bit of a pain afterwords. Seems stable so far. New stupid app GetGood (Why???) DUN !!!! DUN !!! DUN!!! hey did I mention that it now has DUN (Dial Up Networking) Support.
