TouchBook is a freeware replacement for the default Address Book or Contacts application. TouchBook provides access your phones and addresses in a completely fascinating way: type or scroll, also including a favorites and a today screen!
TouchBook lets you use your fingers or the stylus to scroll through the list of phones. Just touch the screen and flick through the list using only your thumb!
TouchBook also provides the usual way of searching through contacts - by typing on the Treo keyboard. Just type JD to quickly find John Doe in your list!
Send emails and SMS with ease using TouchBook!
A powerful skinning interface is a part of TouchBook. The user can create his own style of the program to fit his/her tastes. Add a wallpaper, fit it to the screen boundaries, choose text and selection colors and save it!
Favorites and Today screens are also integrated into TouchBook. The today screen shows your undone tasks and coming appointments. The favorites screen displays small photos of your favorite contacts you can quickly access!

hoobajoonate: Very pretty. Great potential. sadly it won't call or txt any of the numbers on my 650. any advice?
southwestroadboy: its too touchy, hard to control, its nice for show.
force448: I enjoy the new look my contact list has but none of my pictures for contacts show up on touchbook unless I select edit contact and then they pop up, does anyone have similar issues?
astronomyrec: my only problem it doesn't replace the existing add book so I would have to open the app to lookup my contacts. wats the point? if I'm just trying to make a call why wait.?
guggie: Nice idea, but slow to load up on Centro.
sessygurl: great idea but needs a lil fine tuning...on the 700p scrolling didn't work, when I downloaded the program it said it was missing a file and wouldn't work properly...didnt really get a chance to use it pass that...once u fix it let me know and i'll download it again
fractalVisionz: Great free program. I do have some (hopefully) simple requests for options. 1. Allow the green call key to call the default number instead of having to dive into the contact. 2. Have the edit menu item actually go edit the contact instead of having to click edit again in view contact. 3. When viewing more contact details (from menu or right 5way), have the center button remove this display (keep left 5way also). Right now the center key will call/email/text whatever number or email you are over. Overall, it is a great program, but these little things keep it from achieving bliss. Finally, you should add a way to donate for the free application, I would. Thanks!
GFresh: It's alright for being free. Couple problems I ran into: 1.) Black text + black background so I had to add a picture background to be able to see my contacts. 2.) Once you enter to see the person's info if you press right on the d-pad a black box covers the screen. Not sure what's supposed to be in there.
noisygecko: Not at all usable. More than 30 seconds to start up *each* time - locks up system during that time. Can't search names by first and last name. After finding a match it lists the rest of the names in contacts order. Touch scrolling almost impossible on my Treo 680.
Ju: Great program, especially for free. But very, very slow on my 680. Nevertheless, love the product and keep up the good work
