TeksPhotos allows a Treo 600 (or Zire 72) to automatically take photos at preset intervals enabling simple time-lapse photography. This freeware application works very well giving some interesting results!

S:-G: Thank you for free, but...
This is just funny monitoring (or spying) tool, may be useful for handheld (not for Treo yet -- is it reasonable to leave mobile alone, even if it periodically make a stable picture? May be it'll have sence, if u could send this picture online -- upload, MMS or smth else -- to other device).
Settings quite poor -- nor path, nor naming, nor preview, zooming, brightness, etc. The only things you could set is resolution and quality. Frankly speaking, I didn't find any difference between pictures with various type of quality settings (of course instead of their size:)
May be developers will make other (possibly commercial) version with these (communication, settings) features...
danwestness: Handy Little App... Two suggestions though: Add the functionality to take picture when motion detected (use Treo as security device)... and turn off the screen when program is in use (more discreet and saves battery life)
: even if you compare the quality of the taken pictures with the treo 650 standard camera application, this program is worth to have it.
nice job.
thank you !!
orhurtado: Very useful ...thanks!!
ranchosteve: great app, just what i was looking for.
