Softick Audio Gateway can operate with any Bluetooth audio device which supports Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) designed to transfer a high-quality stereo audio stream wirelessly.
Softick Audio Gateway captures digital audio from Palm OS audio subsystem and redirects it to the Bluetooth A2DP device:
* Bluetooth stereo headphones or bluetooth stereo headsets
* Desktop PC with a2dp drivers installed
* Bluetooth stereo car kit
* A2DP Speakers.
Your Bluetooth Headset MUST BE A2DP capable!
KEYofR: Should be a 10 just because of the function it provides., Yet, should be about a 4 because it reboots my Centro every couple of days. I didn't have any problem figuring out how to use it or getting it to work. Sound quality improved significantly in the latest version too even for 200 & 160 kbps. But:1: every 10 or so connect/disconnects (which is about once or twice per DAY for me getting in/out of the car) I saysit has used up all of something in the bluetooth library and the only way to clear it is to reboot the device. The message actually says that, reboot. And it's truue.2: However, I don't actually hit that problem too often because even more frequently than THAT, the phone will just spontaneously reboot when you touch the audio player while the a2dp bt gateway is running. Turn the car off? reboot. close Audible.com audiobook player? reboot. answer a phone cal? reboot.I had the phone and used it exactly the same way (with a headphone patch cord instead of BT) forat least a solid year before getting this program and it rebooted maybe once that whole time. The last sprint OS update didn't make a difference, the last update of this program didn't make a difference. (speed and sound quality improved, the two problems above did not)If there was anoy other program that supplies this feature I'd try it, but there isn't, crashy or not, have to give them credit for writing something we need that no one else even tried..
jadecar13: Very good program. Allows me to listen to ptunes & tcpmp through bluetooth headphones. Awesome!!
omi205: This isnt so great, crashes system every time you get a call or message or anything!!! some one help me out since i need a bluetooth mp3 player
jasons219: I love having the ability to use my ReVo BT stereo headset with my Treo 755p. This application has been great and well worth the money. Gave it a 9 out of ten because everything has room for improvement.
roseyjr: this program works great! it was just what i was looking for my treo 680.
farblunget: This software has some serious problems. The channels are backwards and out of phase on my Plantronics Voyager 855, which makes it extremely uncomfortable and effectively useless for stereo media. The 1.18.1828 version of the Audio Gateway causes Callrecorder to reboot the device, so the gateway doesn’t really function for anything useful. The author is very slow to respond to critical bug reports (been two weeks since I reported the reboot problem and no answers yet).
borderboy: it is really good i like it
KabukiAssassin: I would give this a full 10 if it didn't completely lock up my 700p whenever the music starts playing. I have to either reset it or pop the card out to get it to respond. Other than that it works great & sounds excellent.
Smoothbassman: This system is excellent! I'm just wondering if palm had native bluetooth would it work this good? It paired instantly and all my music and videos come loud and clear the headphones! All the controls work with PTunes with no issues. I'm using a motorola M9 and the sound is great! Its better than to corded headphones I was using before! I'm buying this as soon as the trial period is over. This is a must have on a 755P. fully cord free! The calls come thru only the left ear, but thats not a big deal.
psiren13: ditto the last comment! I was tired of being shorts in my wired accessories...I like jogging and didn't like the hassle of clipping and tucking wires. This program is completely worth it!!
