ResetNetlib: Resets the Palm network stack.
It was developed for the Treo 650, but is expected to work on any
Palm OS 5-based device. It may work on other Palm devices that have
a network stack. It solves a myriad of networking problems that can crop up. The most common of these is the stack running out of sockets.
To use, simply tap the "Reset Netlib" icon. The program will
reset the network library. When the dialog box is acknowledged, you
will be returned to the launcher.
Note: On a Treo 600, it might be a convenient way to force the network to disconnect and therefore minimize the data cost after an online operation (email, web browsing).
abigoldenberg: I altered the code to take out the message box. Email me at fixedresetnetlib@yahoo.com and I'll send you the fixed version.
thorkster: Great job. Just what I needed. It's working on the 700p. I'd like to see the dialog box done away with. Other than that, perfect. Any way to get Kumashi's edited version?
chiusano: Great application, however, it does not seem to quite do a full disconnect, as the next time any application wants to access the internet, it is done without asking first, regardless of preferences/network setting. can this bug be fixed?
Frisbeeralf: Great application:-) It completely stops Versamail connection but reopens when used while surfing with WebToGo (this connects again with the internet). Thanks for solving this;-) Regards from Leipzig

yulianto: Kumashi, please share your modified app!
kumashi: This is a great little application... thank you! And thanks especially for including the source code! I was able to remove the dialog box pretty easily, making a simple no-input-required "network disconnect" application, which is exactly what I needed. Great work!!
lovellsj: Only convenient way to disconnect a Sprint Treo 650
paul353: I use after using Email, when disconnecting from GPRS. It saves having to go into network settings and scrolling around.
phatbike: Awesome ... works flawlessly on me Treo 650 ... THANKS!
statik: great idea so is not working on my CDMA Treo 600 im sad
