ricka63: No good on my 700p. Puts in in a reset very time I tried to save photo.
jgumphress: I bought this before trying it. Wasted 4 bucks. The camera in my 700P does a better job, and faster too. I've taked several photos side-by-side with HQ and built-in camera software. In every case the Palm camera was far better.
kelisia_kevandra: it good. its even better than my original treo 6oo camara application
adaptes: Works fine. Save two files, in BMP format, one 640X480 the other 960X720 on the SD card of my Treo 650. The documentation is a little bit succinct. Not to be used for moving picture.
ntjoe: My camera on my 650 was messed up with the sepia type look. Advise given was to just replace the unit. I installed this software and the pictures are almost perfect now. A little slower than the orignal but this could be a great work around to the 650 camera problems.
JFMw: Note: blue/yellow line on the left part of your photo is a watermark, not a bug (watermark is only in BMP files, there is no limitation in JPEG files). I wonder how people are trying PhotosHQ if they don't even try to compare picture at full screen on a computer (if so, they would have read some text in the watermark). My 2 cents... (Developer response)
pogiprb7677: its too slow in saving pictures and theres no difference. the treo680 built-in camera is clearer and crispier than photo HQ i just gave my donation hope they'll do some improvements soon....
quicksears: it was brighter but blurier than the standard camera. It also is not a smooth running camera (you have to allow it to set/focus on an object). After one photo I deinstalled.
S:-G: Works good on my Treo650. Zoom feature is fine. But when I compare jpg-photo, made by Treo-camera, jpg-PhotosHQ and bmp-PhotosHQ, I don't find any difference in picture quality (details in text, landscape, LCD-screen). Size of picture: native ~56K, jpg-P ~60K, bmp-P ~2026K (feel the difference:) Both jpg-640x480, bmp-960x720. One note: few months ago I improved picture quality by small utility, which makes less losses in jpg-compression. So: program may be useful (zooming, other compression method, etc.), but you should pay for it with quastionable final result.
Tivie: Interpolation works great on my Treo 650! A "red hand" appears when interpolation fails, but if you try not to move a second during the photo it functions as expected. Nice!
