Mobeans21: ok can someone help me. I had the first version, i think it was 3.1, on my 755p, and it worked great. when i saw the updated 4.2b i deleted the old Opera and installed the new one, but now every time i go to the start page or choose bookmarks my applications menu pops up (yeah random) does anyone know how to correct this S**T?
mims_leshan: This browser is a piece of junk. It is far slower that the stock browser, it is buggy as well. So much so, that it caused my Treo 650 to restart by itself, it caused my machine to hang and necissated me to do several resets, hard and otherwise. I tried several different memory management strategies, install strategies (another nightmare), and ways to avoid bugs. Not possible folks. Opera for the Treo 650 is not ready for prime time. It was far over-hyped and failed to impress, let alone perform. For the casual browsing necessary when a laptop or desktop is not around, stick with the installed browser.
KillerKellerjr: yes Sprint charges by the KB if you don't have a data plan....you've been warned!
Izaak09: Will sprint charge me if i get on the internet
carrieb: I had this browser on my Centro a few months ago, earlier version(?)- but uninstalled it: -several times it reinstalled itself on lauch. -experienced frequent freezes. + When it worked, it was NICE! + page rendering+ built in RSS reader - at times, the RSS feeds i subscribed to would disappear disappear (and i had to start all over) + I could increase the font size
chris67: extremely slow browser (sublight speed). Makes my sprint centro blazer browser act like warp factor nine! It took awhile to get a JAVA only to find that Opera doesn't support landscape mode on the centro.
Billkwando: I love this browser. It does crash or freeze once every couple days (and uninstalled itself once...but kept my bookmarks) but for the spped and how good pages look, it's worth a few bumps. Plus it will let me post from Kotaku (a gawker blog), which Blazer wouldn't. It is awesome and fast, and considering I'm on the old granfathered in ($10 unlimited but sloooow) Vision plan from Sprint, that makes a difference.
asfeen: Looks like the program is amazinf but it is so annoying that it does not work without JVM and it took me 3 hours to find the right files since PALM is not support JAVA anymore. But Opera does not offer any help.
vinniewarlock: this is by far the best mobile browser for Palm devices. What i need now is to confogure the JVM to make it run better with more complexes sites
eralfix: it's really free, and you will receive a lot of troubles, and at the end, they also destroied your Blazer!!!!
