This program is for getting live flight status for all recent flights. If you know the flight number for your flight all you do is type it in and it returns the information for your flight. (Usually within 10-20 seconds.) However, if you do not know the flight number you may also fill in a small form and it gives you a list of flights for that airline. (Again, usually within 10-20 seconds.) You may then click on one and it tells you information about that flight. The information it gives you is: Departure City, Arrival City, Departure Time,Arrival Time, as well as airspeed in knots, equipment and altitude.
This version has Independence Air as well as other new airlines as well as security wait times for the Atlanta airport. (The only airport that has real-time posting of their security waits.)
The program will default to show Top 10 Airlines. To see other airlines, change to 'Show All Airlines' via the menu options.

jchristensen: Wow. This is just what I have been looking for.
jdavis1510: This is a GREAT program - This version is not the latest, but you can download the new one for free!
eatingorange: doesn't work. "no flights found" Heh!
chrisquevedo: it works fine now, i just confirmed it. in response to earlier comments, "mobile.flightstatus.com" does not work. it was the cheaptickets.com mobile site once upon a time. they've taken it down. its faster to use Opera Mini to bring up "flightview.com" thats where it seems flightstatus gets its data anyways.
love this app, hope for more coolness to follow :-D
Shigo_Naito: I have the new version and i still can not get it to work.
sofTTware: A new version is available that works now! I did a check for pdates from my Treo and d/l'd the new one. Thx very much to the author for fxing this program as it is a real lifesaver for road warriors!
dbaci: The program does not work anymore, however, if you set a Location on your Favorites with the following URL: http://mobile.flightstats.com, you will have ALL the information that Flight Status used to give you. A solution to the problem.
Ken_S: This was one of the most useful programs for the Treo. I hope he can find a source for the data. I'd put this app right up there with Directory Assistance. Getting data from the internet in this form is what mobile communications should be all about!
lskohn: As of 2/27/07, the program (which was awesome) can get you to the flightpath website on your browser, but can no longer simply display departure, arrival and status info -- the site from which the info was being pulled is no longer in service, according to the programmer's website. I hope Andrew can find a replacement soon!
rdigiacomo: Awesome, simple app. Must have for any Treo owner who travels.
