GFresh: At first I thought this was a crossword puzzle game so I had no idea what was going on. Best Scrabble knock off out there for free in my opinion.

ifmnx4u: This is a superb Scrabble clone. Load the SOWPODS2to8 dictionary and you are using an international competition level word list. I play Scrabble a lot and against some very good players, some with national rankings. Playing Crosswords against the computer is essentially playing an opponent with perfect knowledge of the English language. I think I've beaten the game four or five times mainly by being defensive and emphasizing parallel play to limit my opponent's premium scoring opportunities. Those critical of this game should maybe take up Tetris or something equally mind-numbing instead. Kudos to the author!

daslickman: It's allright, but with the simple dictionary the computer doesn't recognize ANY words. Seriously the most simple words it will say doesn't exist. Then if you do the advanced dictionary it will use the most rediculous words ever that definitely are not words. I play with the simple dictionary and when it says my words aren't real I overrule it. But not bad, good for when you're bored at class.

mdisbell: A great clone of Scrabble! Fun way to kill some time, even if it is easy to beat.

: If you load the "college"-level dictionary (maybe it should be called the "graduate school linguistics"-level dictionary) you should find playing against the computer to be challenging. For example in our last game it came up with words like "vicuna", "tabor", "wye", "et", "li" and "jo". OK, thinking about it, I can figure out what some of these are. But the point is, with such a complete dictionary, your opponent is well-equipped. You'll need to resort to strategy, and even then good luck staying ahead. In other words, this game is great. I'm hoping I'll figure out what some of the cryptic icons are, since they aren't explained in any help file (some are obvious). Enjoy!
