onlyshawn: *sigh*
i just don't get the whining. the directions are simple enough to follow, and even without the 'extra' features, for which a donation is required, this is a dammmmmed fine app.
why, oh why, is it necessary to whine about what it's called? you get some of it for free, and if you want the extra parts of the program, pay for it!! EVEN THE FREE PARTS ARE WORTH PAYING FOR, but that's not being asked of you.
so, before we go and get our pitchforks out to lynch MTDN, let's chill out a minute and realize that we are getting a DARNED QUALITY PROGRAM FOR FREE.
the *only* complaint that i have, which resulted in an '8' rating is that this makes the time between app switching and turning on the treo a little longer, because the camera has to measure the light...it adds a second or two when turning on the treo to check the time, or when switching apps. not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
gameboyonyx: Fine piece of a utility. Accurately determine the amount of backlight needed wherever you are. Also determine if you need light on the keypad.
Slem: In any circumstance the positions of those who make a 'donation' and those who don't should be no different. For example, churchgoers who donate money during a collection certainly don't 'unlock' any extra spiritual privileges over those who don't. The guy who wrote this program is being sneaky. Why doen't he just call it 'shareware' that requires an 'unlock payment' for full functionality? What's he afraid of? Persanally I think it's a ploy to draw the focus of reviews away from the quality of the product. That Mytreo.net allows this type of deception makes me wonder about their own motives.
rosenft: One of my favorite utilities. Great work!
josan: funciona a la perfeccion, ahora ya no tengo problema porque se aclara la imagen dependiendo de que tan oscuro este....
ixpert: It would be good to see a version history of the software, so that people would know what enhancements have been added, what bugs have been fixed, etc. Also, would like to see a clearer descripton than the one below, about what main features are the freeware.
tdipane: If you enjoy reset-looping, the ever fun freeze-ups & the oh so sought after pseudo-freeware label...then, baby, this one's for you!!!
stevefromiami: Will screw up your 650. constant re-boot.
Back to the drawing board guys...
exjoburger: This is $14.95 shareware - see PalmGear (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerRef=&prodid=66507)
lovecostarica: Immediately following install and setup using the 'wizard', Palm went into a reset loop. Required intermediate reset to terminate and had to uninstall from system.
