Rating: 8 theisey: Works nicely once you understand the settings. (Had trouble with autodimming cutting the light.) I do astronomy and the default light settings kill my night vision. With BrightCam, that no longer happens. Fantastic!

Rating: 7 domlazz: I really loved this program on my 600. On my 650, it's not quite as good because the keyboard light control is not working properly (I use KB Lights off for that now) and the quick set feature doesn't seem to work (it just toggles from bright to dim). The instructions are confusing, but when you get it set up, it works nicely to keep your screen at exactly the right level 95% of the time.

Rating: 1 mobyick: Needs updating. Won't work on my Treo 700P (and it's sorely needed)

Rating: 5 zwink: Deleted it, at one point could not see my screen at all in the middle of the night. Very embarassing when I am trying to do something with a blank screen. Great Idea but could not get it to work right.

Rating: 8 jamesnmissy: great app. love the way it works on my 650 not a problem at all we will update and see about the changes! By the way PRICE IS RIGHT! LOL

Rating: 9 cbunt1: Love it! Took a little time to configure it properly (so the backlight doesn't shut completely off in total darkness) but once the thresholds were setup, it's great.

Rating: 9 bcwaller: Love it. It works very well as adjusting brightness to match the room light. The only change I'd love to see would be a cut-off where it just turns the backlight off at a certain brightness. After all, we don't need any backlight in full sun.

Rating: 1 nmndubis: How the hell do I fix the backlight on my keyboard. I deleted the good for nothing app and I'm still having problems

Rating: 1 oppossum: yuck. Im done with in 5 min I can decide whats best faster and better than this.

Rating: 6 VoltAmpere: odd thing. they keypad light works well (using Treo650), but the calibration for the brightness is all wrong. in bright conditions,my lcd backlight is set to maximum, and when it's pitch-dark the backlight won't light up! it seems the light range for the luminosity is inverted. this is what jpskidmore experienced when he accidentally covered his camera with his hand. also, the "keyboard auto off" option doesn't work. instead of controlling the keyboard light, it dims the lcd backlight after 15sec. i understand that option is supposed to be "LCD auto dim." the 600 users don't seem to have a problem with it, so this must be a 650 issue.
