Attention Grabber (AttnGrab) extends the functionality of the Palm Attention/Notification Manager. It grabs your attention by emitting a beep, turning on the LED or vibrating periodically when you have pending alerts. This is most useful on a device like the Treo, which does not by default provide continuous alerts for notifications.
Key Setting Features:
- Extremely small footprint (6KB)
- You can enable or disable the app (note that it is always diabled while running but it re-enables when it closes).
- You can tell the app to re-enable itself after a soft reset.
- You can specify the number of seconds between attention grabbing attempts.
- You can enable or disable the audible beep.
- You can enable or disable the LED while there are pending attention items.
- You can enable or disable the vibrator (useful if you have muted the sound on your Treo).

pierrejpg2: This app is standard on most new phones A+++
Izaacg816: Spint 755p's dont need this app. It notifys me properly of missed calls, texts, and alarms.Using the green LED and the bell icon that will appear on the top left hand corner of the phones main screen. I noticed a friends Verizon 755 and his green led would blink continuously. He and you others must need this app. Bummer. Wowzers Sprint did a good thing for once on my 755p.
etard: I have found a small bug, as I see it... when you are in Chat mode in SMS and sending texts back and forth, if you walk away and get some text, the attention grab does not work. if you close up a chat and are just in the default view of the messaging app, it works. but within a chat and open chat window, it does not alert you.
