Do you need protection?

Much has been discussed in the forums about screen protectors. We almost universally agree that they are a necessity, but which is the best? That decision is about to become just a little harder. Listen to Kirk Feller, and watch him demonstrate BodyGuardz, a seemingly indestructible shield for your screen or your entire device.

Sold two to a package, you can purchase just the screen protector, or one that covers your entire device. BodyGuardz are made for all the Treo models, the Centro, and almost any gadget you can imagine from cameras to laptops.

While I haven't tried BodyGuardz for myself, I still learn towards my InvisibleShield which can be removed and replaced (when you have to have your device replaced) and comes with a lifetime guarantee. It sure is nice to have so many choices though!

I used to be a big fan of screen protectors on my PDA, now I just freeball my Treo. The loss of sensitivity and hassle of buying and attaching them well enough just ain't worth it anymore.

Although the material has come a long way from the "Concept Kitchen" ones that used to quickly eat stylus tips, my "screen protector" now is my $50 insurance plan with Sprint. 5 years and counting using Treos and every one has died long before screen scratches ever became an issue.

If the Bodyguardz (or whatever they are called) are indestructible, why would you need to buy two of them at a time?

I have an Invisible Shield on my Treo. also on my digital camera, my iPod, and my GPS system. the one on the Treo is over two years old, and there are no stylus marks on the screen at all, and no loss in screen feel. Installing it is simple.

The company that makes Invisible Shield says that it is *not* designed to be removed and replaced. If you change devices, you should buy a new one.

NLU Products says:

Hey I just want to let you all know that we have launched our 'Advantage' customer appreciation program for our product BodyGuardz. We now offer lifetime replacements and much more. You can read more about it on our website.

Also, there are many reason why we include two complete protectors. Let's face it, there is going to be a time when you are going to want to remove the protector. You may need to submit the device for repairs, you may decide you want sell it and buy another, or you may just need an extra one for the second device you have. We are aware of this need and we don't want you to have to wait the week or so to get another without protection on your device.
